TestVonics ADTS-2800 Series Test Sets are high precision portable Air Data Pressure Management Systems. These testers are designed to calibrate, test and troubleshoot Air Data instrumentation or Aircraft Pitot-Static Systems. The ADTS-2800 control and measurement loop uses two high precision solid state transducers. These transducers allow for testing a wide range of aircraft including Rotary Wing or Fixed Wing Aircraft. In addition, the ADTS-2800 accuracy meets or exceeds requirements outlined in accordance with the Reduced Vertical Separation Minima program.
Each mode of operation is designed to make the operators learning curve for control or measurement as easy and straight forward as possible. The control set points, as well as actual/present altitude and airspeed pressure conditions are displayed at all times. Execution of new set point commands are entered through the main or remote control panels. In addition, limits and/or rate of change are displayed at all times. ADTS is designed with sun light readable displays. These displays insure that operators can effectively and clearly read altitude and airspeed conditions under the most harsh/bright sun light conditions.
TestVonics has designed the ADTS-2800 Series to withstand the harsh environmental and rough handling conditions for the flight line, hanger, and/or ramp environments. The durable enclosure protects the internal assemblies from impact, shock, vibration, rain and dust. The system includes a self contained high reliability, Pressure and Vacuum Pump. This pump provides source pressure and vacuum to the ADTS-2800 control loop. The design of this pump reduces noise transmission and provides the amount of adequate flow control rate and commands to maximum limits. The ADTS offers two variations of the pump system, one for commercial applications and one for military test range. The military range pump is designed to operate the ADTS at maximum altitudes or airspeeds while operating at a high rate of climb or decent. This makes the unit suitable for tactical fighter or high performance aircraft applications. The commercial unit is designed for normal applications such as Airline, Business/Commuter Jet, General Aviation or Helicopter/Rotary wing test applications.
The ADTS-2800 Remote Control Unit is designed to reduce manpower requirements and testing time. This remote control module features the same main unit control features and displays as seen on the ADTS front panel. This capability allows the operator to control the test set remotely from the cockpit while controlling airspeed and altitude. The remote ADDM is available with a 50’ cable allowing for control on the largest wide body aircraft. |
