TestVonics Incorporated offers a TTU-205 Precision Volume Tank (PVT) for functional, operational and accuracy testing of the TTU-205 Pressure Temperature Test Sets. The TestVonics TTU-205 PVT provides the Calibration Laboratories and repair activities with the capability to perform prescribed TTU-205 Altitude and Airspeed Rate Tests. The PVT is designed to directly emulate volumes associated with the Aircraft Pitot-Static Systems. Many Military and Commercial Aircraft have large volume requirements due to their particular mission environments. To ensure that the TTU-205 can adequately evacuate or pressurize these systems, it becomes necessary to simulate the volume conditions while checking the accuracy of its ”rate of climb or descent”.

Use of the TestVonics PVT provides the technician with the confidence that the internal pump can perform the volume capabilities of the Aircraft. The TestVonics PVT consists of three (3) Volume Tanks precisely manufactured for the simulation of 250, 160 and 100 cubic inch loads. These Volume Tanks are attached together and mounted on heavy duty brackets painted flight-line yellow for bench-top testing. Each Tank is equipped with pneumatic fittings for quick attachment of the pneumatic hoses. TestVonics also offers a Volume Tank Quick Disconnect Hose Kit (TVCS-6000-3-1) for the direct attachment to the TTU-205 Static and Pitot quick disconnects as part of this configuration or they can be ordered separately.
