Repair/Overhaul Process
Need to send in a test set for repair or overhaul? Contact TestVonics to ensure that we are able to properly repair your test equipment. If so, you will be given a Tracking Number (ie. TN-0000). Then you ship your equipment to our repair facility in Peterborough, NH. If you would like to participate in our HMTC Program (see below), we will ship you out a transport container for your TTU-205 or PPCM.
When the equipment arrives, it is taken out of its case and given a thorough visual and mechanical inspection. If repairs are necessary, TestVonics will provide a full teardown of all costs and get approval prior to doing any work (unless asked to do otherwise). When the unit is repaired, it is checked for accuracy and calibrated to stringent requirements. THe unit is then repacked and shipped back with Incoming & Outgoing Inspection Reports, Calibration Data (before and after if required) and Calibration Certificate.
The turn-around time for each piece of equipment varies. If there is not a lot of work necessary and all the parts are in stock, the turn around time is typically 2 weeks. However, that is dependent on several other factors including our current workload within the shop, the type of equipment, and how quickly the customer approves repairs. When we send you the teardown, typically we will let you know when to expect the equipment to leave our facility by. |

High Mobility Transport Container (HMTC) Program
TestVonics offers a program that utilizes a specially designed High Mobility Transport Case (HMTC) to protect units from damage during shipments. This offers an added piece of mind that units are shipped and returned in the same condition in which it leaves our facility. These containers can fit a TTU-205, PPCM or similar sized equipment. We offer this service for free, and only ask that the customer pay for shipping for the container out to you and back to us (via UPS ground- typically only around $50). TestVonics also sells the High Mobility Transport Container, you can find it in the Products section. |
